Updated Aperture for Leopard

Aperture allows digital photographers to organize their photos, determine which images they want to keep and which images to discard, incorporates a wealth of metadata, allows custom searches, and offers non-destructive photo retouching tools.

In addition to adding support for Leopard, Aperture 1.5.6 also improves its performance and reliability, according to Apple. Changes from version 1.5.6 that are documented include the resolution of some minor compatibility issues with iPhoto 7.1, the preview shared with the iLife Media Browser, the reliability of the Import Session feature, and recovery from the Vault library.

Apple recommends the upgrade for all Aperture users, and not just those who have upgraded to Leopard.
