The Xacti HD1000 weighs about 270 grams and, like other camcorders in the Xacti family, is shaped similar to a pistol but its ergonomics have been improved thanks to collaboration between Chiba University of Japan and Sanyo. This is achieved, according to the manufacturer, to make its use comfortable for long periods of time.
It will be available, in the United States, starting in September at a suggested price of $ 800.
