According to Apple Insider, Apple is expected to release iTunes 7.5 this week, although they don’t expect it to be a major update to Apple’s multimedia content software.
However, iTunes users may benefit from improved stability, better handling of duplicate songs and video content, according to the report.
They also hope that the improvement in the application is aimed at solving the problems faced by some customers trying to update their songs already purchased to the new iTunes Plus format. Some users had reported the inability to download their newly purchased songs.
The update is also expected to offer support for the British and German versions of the iPhone, so that users in these countries can purchase ringtones from the local iTunes Store itself.
