REAL SQL Server 2007

REAL SQL Server enables REALbasic applications to access a database environment. It is designed to work with applications designed with REALbasic 2006 and later. The free version for developers allows developers to create database-aware applications without the need to purchase a license until the application is finally deployed to end users. The software works on Mac OS X, Linux and Windows.

REAL SQL Server is a universal binary application that runs natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. Support for database file encryption using AES256 is also added in this version of the product. REAL SQL Server offers ODBC, PHP and C clients, allowing developers to access REAL SQL Server from other tools and interfaces. REAL SQL Server 2007 also adds multi-core support so that it is more scalable for large databases.
