The licensing program is designed to simplify purchasing and reduce costs, allowing you to upgrade your Quark software licenses to the latest version at the most cost-effective price, and offers additional benefits.
According to Quark, volume discounts will mean lower price points for new licenses and upgrades and there is no ongoing commitment or contractual obligation for customers who choose to purchase the QVLP (Quark Volume License Program). The program also simplifies purchases, relating them in their entirety to a single serial number and a validation code.
License management software lets you manage licenses from a central location and includes tools that help keep track of customers so they avoid buying more licenses than necessary and facilitate cost reduction for IT departments. Customers will also have access to concurrent licenses, which means that QuarkXPress can be installed on every computer in an organization; however, it can only be run concurrently based on the number of copies actually purchased. In many cases, this will lower the total cost of ownership and optimize QuarkXPress within an organization.
To qualify for the price discounts offered by the QVLP program, customers simply need to have or purchase more than one QuarkXPress license. There are no other minimum purchase requirements or criteria. With the QVLP program, volume discounts are both per transaction and cumulative, which means that the discount for a particular purchase is determined by the number of licenses the user currently has plus the number of licenses to be to buy.
Once the Quark Volume Licensing Program has been purchased, customers are also eligible to participate in the newly introduced QuarkAssurance program, which entitles them to QuarkXPress updates and enhancements for a period of 24 months.
The Quark Volume Licensing program is offered throughout Europe for QuarkXPress licenses, either through Quark resellers or Quark customer service. Web: http://euro.quark.com/en/service/desktop/cust_service/contact.html.
