OmniGraffle 5 lets you create diagrams, graphs, lay out pages, sketch websites, and perform graphic design. The software allows to export images with TIFF, JPEG and PNG formats among others, as well as edit styles, clone figures, create bézier lines, support smart guides and automatic application of mockups.
In version 5 the design engine based on Graphviz has been added, which allows the application of designs in a faster and more varied way, as well as supporting Bezier curves, “mini inspectors” in charge of collecting the most common controls of the inspectors, a style drawer for quicker finding of object styles, and a brush search (which also connects to Graffletopia, a free third-party library of brushes for OmniGraffle).
The Pro version of the product adds export for Visio, subgraphs, a presentation mode, saving and restoring the workspace, ColorSync support, SVG export, Boolean operations on figures, and tables among other features.
OmniGraffle 5 and OmniGraffle 5 Pro require Mac OS X 10.5 “Leopard”.
