The new DMC-L10 digital SLR camera features a Leica lens that complies with the Four Thirds system, as well as a 10.1 megapixel Live MOS sensor. At the same time it has a 2.5-inch color LCD with 270-degree rotation, Venus Engine III image processor, Mega OIS image stabilization systems and Intelligent ISO Control.
It has a new capture mode called Movie with which to make the best of the scene or subject to be photographed, always with options for adequate contrast, sharpness, saturation and noise reduction settings.
It has an advanced hybrid AF system thanks to contrast AF, Face Detection system (up to 15 faces at a time), Ultrasonic Dust Removal System (SSWF) and, according to the manufacturer, it is an easy-to-use mode for all kinds of photographers. Panasonic’s new SLR camera is compatible with the two new Leica lenses L-RS014050 (14-50mm) and L-RS014150 (14-150mm) which can be purchased separately.
The price of the DMC-L10 (with LEICA 14-50 lens including L-RS014050) is 1,299 EUR, while the LEICA L-RS014050 lens (LEICA D VARIO-ELMAR 14-50 mm with MEGA OIS stabilizer and F3.8 -5.6 aspherical) is 699 EUR.
