Both models offer a brightness of 700 cd / m2, a contrast ratio of 1200: 1 and use a 20-inch S-PVA type panel. They have a response time of 8 ms, a viewing angle of 178 degrees (both horizontally and vertically) and work at an optimal resolution of 1,360 x 768 pixels at 60 Hz. They have been specifically designed for extended use, so they are suitable for demanding applications in airports, hotel receptions and shopping centers.
One of the most striking novelties of this NEC MultiSync 20 range is that they have an anti-theft system by means of a PIN code, through which the screens can only be turned on again by entering a 4-digit code and it has an optional housing that allows the integration of a computer a single SBC card, a Minicom CAT 5 receiver, an HDSDI card, or a DVI Daisy Chain Board.
It has HDMI and DVI-D connectivity with HDCP, SCART, 5 BNC connections, component, composite (via BNC and Cinch), one S-video and one D-Sub 15 (VGA). They have a slim bezel to make multi-screen application easier. In the case of the NEC MultiSync LCD4020 it measures 15.5 mm wide and that of the NEC MultiSync LCD4620 screen, 17 mm.
The new NEC MultiSync 20 series will be available on the market starting this month and come with a three-year warranty on all models.
