Citrix DesktopPlayer improves virtualization on Macs

MW Expo: OneTouch III Mini Edition, compatible with Mac

The unit is part of the Seagate-Maxtor line of producer, has USB 2.0 connectivity and is powered directly from the Mac. Inside it has a hard disk with a mechanics that works at 5,400 RPM and has a cache memory buffer of 8 MB.

According to the manufacturer, after installing the included software, simply connect the unit to the Mac so that the synchronization and backup operations (backup copies) that have been defined are automatically carried out. It also includes the “Maxtor DriveLock” application, an internal firmware that allows restricting access to the data stored inside the disk and prevents access to it if the disk is lost or stolen.

The drive is now available in different capacities: 80GB, 120GB, and 160GB, with a suggested retail price of $ 130, $ 170, and $ 230, respectively, with VAT.
