A bug found in Mozilla Firefox browser All downloaded extensions were reportedly being closed for no apparent reason. The company is now implementing a software solution to the problem.
Mozilla said in a blog post I had identified the problem as a certificate expiration problem. “The solution will be applied automatically in the background in the next few hours. You don’t need to take active steps to get the plugins working again,” the company said.

He also added: “In particular, do not remove or reinstall any plug-in as an attempt to fix the problem. Removing a plug-in deletes all data associated with it, where deactivation and reactivation does not,” Mozilla said.
However, the company says that the solution does not apply to Firefox ESR or Firefox for Android. Mozilla is working on a fix for these two versions and has said to keep a check on their social media channels for an update.
“To provide this review in a short time, we are using the Studies system. This system is enabled by default, and no action is required unless Studies have been disabled,” the company said in the post.
