If you have an account with the Microsoft Outlook email service, there is a possibility that your account information has been disclosed to unknown hackers.

Microsoft has now started notifying Outlook users about this violation. A user in Reddit in public posted a screenshot from an email you received from Microsoft warning that unknown attackers could access certain information in your OutLook account between January 1, 2019 and March 28, 2019.
Another Reddit user also confirmed that Microsoft has, in fact, reached out to several Outlook users through a similar email. However, Microsoft did not disclose the total number of accounts affected by the incident.
According to the incident notification email, the attackers were able to compromise the credentials of one of Microsoft’s customer support agents and used it to access information such as email addresses, folder names, and subject lines of files. emails, but not the content of the emails or attachments.
