Microsoft publishes details of Office 2008 for Mac

The “Out of Office” feature allows users to set up an automated message that responds to all incoming messages. This feature is especially useful if you are on a plane or cannot answer your email for a specific period of time.

The setup wizard provides control over different aspects of the message, including the text that will be sent in the body of the message, the start and end date when it will not be available, and whether the message will only be sent to contacts in the calendar .

To implement this feature, entourage communicates with the Exchange 2007 server through web services.
