Mac OS X 10.4.10 improves Bluetooth and USB

Among the changes that the update solves is one related to bluetooth headphones, for which they are listed as a sound output device in the system preferences panel once they have been previously removed from the Bluetooth preferences.

The update also resolves several issues related to the USB connection, including reliability improvements when using the IR remote control after the computer comes out of sleep. Reliability in mounting external USB hard drives has also been improved. Tom Tom Go 910 users should have no more trouble getting the device to be recognized correctly when connected via the USB port on Intel-based Macs.

An issue with DNG files, where they could appear tinted or distorted, has also been corrected, and Mathematica 6 support for 64-bit Macs has been added.

Mac OS X 10.4.10 adds RAW image decoding support for various cameras, including the Panasonic DMC-LX1, Panasonic DMC-LX2, Leica M8, Leica D-LUX 2, Leica D-LUX 3, Fuji S5 Pro , Nikon D40x and the Canon EOS 1D Mk III.

Other minor issues related to calculating calendars, importing video from DV cameras, and texture corruption that could appear in Motion when there is no more video memory available have also been fixed.

The update is available through the Software Update feature of the operating system, and can also be downloaded from the support area of ​​the Apple website, where it is available as a separate download for PowerPC and Intel platforms.
