Joost opens its doors

Joost is an Internet TV service for Mac and PC computers that has signed agreements with various conventional television channels for the electronic distribution of its programs.

The software, which uses a peer-to-peer network to distribute the programs, is available as a free download.

The new version offers automatic notifications every time new content is added to the service, as well as the ability to directly link the video and an automatic update mechanism that allows the Mac client to always keep the latest version of the program.
