iChatUSBCam Increases Its Webcam Support

iChatUSBCam is an extension for iChat AV and it adds support for web cameras based on USB connection in addition to the original support of this program for DV and iSight cameras. It also works on Macs that would not otherwise meet Apple’s system requirements for using the video conferencing feature with iChat AV.

The new version 2.2 adds support for most of the new Logitech USB webcams; Support has also been added for video devices incorporating multiple inputs, as well as localization for Italian and Swedish languages.

iChatUSBCam requires iChat AV 2.0 or later, a USB webcam or other video source, and a computer with a PowerPC or Intel processor. The price for a new license is $ 9.95.
