Galaxy S10 E vs iPhone XR: a spec war between …

the Galaxy S10 Series Samsung was finally unveiled on February 20, although the leaks had given us a clear picture of the device before that launch had occurred. This time, like Apple last year, Samsung introduced three smartphones in the S series line: S10, S10 Plus and S10 E.

While the S10 and S10 Plus They are Samsung’s flagship devices, the S10 E is what you might call a budget version of those two. Although by no means cheap with a starting price of $ 749, the S10 E offers almost all the features of the S10 and has only a few trade-offs.

These tradeoffs include an Infinity O flat screen instead of the curve. Less RAM and storage for the boot variant. Dual cameras instead of triple cameras on the back and a capacitive fingerprint reader instead of an on-screen one. The S10 E’s screen size is also 5.8 inches compared to 6.1 inches and 6.4 inches on the S10 and S10 Plus, respectively. Other than that, the internals of the phones are more or less the same

A certain Apple phone was also released with certain concessions to keep the price low. the iPhone XR It was the budget iPhone in 2018 and even retails for $ 749. The XR lacks the AMOLED screen, dual cameras, and the stainless steel finish of the expensive iPhone XS and XS Max. It also comes with lower RAM and storage options. However, the internal parts of the phone were the same as the phone. iPhone XS.

It makes sense for us to compare the budget flagship of the tech giants. So we have a spec comparison for the two phones below.

In terms of display, the S10 E appears to be a winner with its 505 ppi AMOLED screen. The dual camera is also a bonus, although we will have to test the phone thoroughly to render a final verdict. For now, both Samsung and Apple have released decent “budget” versions of their flagship devices and we’ll see if the S10 E sells as much as Samsung hopes it will. Stay tuned for a detailed review of all the S10 devices released by Samsung.
