Freeverse Releases Heroes of Might & Magic V

The latest version of the strategy game Heroes of Might & Magic V places you in the shoes of one of the characters (heroes) who must lead a legion of warriors or fantastic and mythical creatures.

Marking a break from previous versions, Heroes of Might & Magic V has been developed by Nival Interactive rather than by New World Computing (the original creator of the game). The new version incorporates a 3-D battlefield, a new “active battle system”, special objectives, as well as additional challenges. The game consists of managing units and resources, as well as the use of tactics in the battlefield and typical elements of adventure and role-playing games.

Heroes of Might & Magic V is available exclusively for Intel processor-based Macs. It is the first of the top-tier commercial games for Mac developed with Cider, a virtualization technology created by TransGaming Technologies.

The system requirements are an Intel processor-based Mac, Mac OS X 10.4.8 or later, 512 MB of RAM, 2 GB of hard disk, DVD-ROM drive, and an Internet connection to be able to play with other users.
