Epson Stylus Photo 1400, A3 + Photo Printer with Claria Photographic Ink

The Stylus Photo 1400 is the evolution of the Epson Stylus Photo 1290s with improved performance and faster print speeds. It allows printing directly on different types of paper weights, as well as on CDs and DVDs. Optionally, an EpsonNet 802.11b / g wireless print server can be added and an external 10/100 Base Tx print server.

Its controller supports Adobe RGB, allowing for a wider color gamut. It has Epson PhotoEnhance technology for more impressive and brilliant results, has a resolution of 5,760 x 1,440 dpi and is capable of printing directly from digital cameras with PictBridge technology.

It uses Epson Claria Photographic inks to improve the quality of photographic prints and achieve durability of up to 200 years, as long as the print is kept in a photo album. It uses 6 separate ink cartridges, each with a different color, so only the used color needs to be replaced. The colors of these cartridges are: cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan, and light magenta.

The Epson Stylus Photo R1400 will be available from February at a suggested retail price of EUR 399 including VAT.
