A large part of iPod accessories comes from manufacturers in China, where all kinds of items are produced from high-quality docking systems, to entry-level accessories and protective films made by fabric suppliers.
The 28 manufacturers featured in the report were selected from the vast showcase of iPod accessory manufacturers available in China. The report found that many manufacturers have their own research and development system, as well as teams focused on product design, and that they benefit from their proximity to component suppliers.
They expect prices for iPod accessories from China to fall by around 5 percent, mainly due to the large number of items they are supplying, strong competition and the proliferation of new models on the market.
