Colorate fully automates the generation of color palettes from a color swatch, whether it is selected from the standard Color Panel, dragged from another application, or obtained through the built-in Image Analyze feature.
The image analysis feature obtains the dominant color of an image by building a harmonized color palette from it. The application also incorporates an option to convert to safe web colors.
Colorate allows you to save color palettes as standard system “.clr” files, which means that you can use these color palettes from the Color Panel directly in any Cocoa application.
Colorate is Universal binary and requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later, being compatible with the previous version of Leopard.
