Blu-ray disc security cracked

The company indicates that its AnyDVD software, available only for Windows, will allow users to make backup copies of high-definition movies in Blu-ray format, in which a technology called BD + is used to avoid such duplication.

The BD + developers initially announced that the protection would hold up for a decade before it could be outgrown, but it seems that for Slysoft it has been a matter of a few months, thus throwing a bit of fuel on the availability of the technology after that the end of the war between the HD DVD and Blu-Ray high definition formats was announced.
