ATI offers a DirectX to OpenGL code converter

Its OpenGL equivalent is GLSL and its use allows developers to translate HLSL shadows into GLSL. This application will be very useful for Mac OS X programmers who work on converting games for Mac due to the need to convert DirectX code to OpenGL code.

Although there are commercial products that fulfill this same function, ATI offers this software free of charge to later offer assistance to programmers who need some kind of help in using the tool.

Application binaries are now available for both Mac OS X and Windows. The application download includes documentation on its use and library files.
