Apple’s colorful line of iPhone XR phones could see a slight change in the color palette in 2019.
According to Japanese blog Macotakara“Trusted information sources” have stated that Apple will swap the blue and coral iPhone XRs for green and lavender later this year.
Beyond coral and blue, the iPhone XR (review) It currently comes in black, white, yellow and Product RED. When the iPhone XR debuted in September 2018, it was Apple’s first splash of bright colors since the iPhone 5C launched in 2013 with blue, green, yellow, pink, and white color options.
In addition to the new colors, we’ve already heard a lot of leaks and predictions about what Apple might do with the iPhone XR follow-up.
The new and improved iPhone XR is being tilted to get an additional lens on its back, which a dual-lens snapper would.
That should mean that it’s capable of taking proper portrait shots and matching the 2x optical zoom that’s already available on more expensive phones, but we’ll have to wait until September to find out for sure.
