Apple to sell unlocked iPhone in France

Apple has been forced to offer this possibility as French law prohibits the joint sale of a phone with the service of an operator. As announced yesterday, mobile phones that are linked to the operator will have a price of 400 EUR.

Clearly, all over the world there is a great demand by users to have the possibility of acquiring the iPhone free from any operator. Mod experts have already managed to develop methods and programs to unlock iPhones and install third-party applications on them.

Apple tried with its phone software update 1.1.1 to disable phones that had been jailbroken and unlocked, but methods to reinstall the old software and unlock the terminals again have already been developed.

Apple has also announced the release of the iPhone in the United Kingdom and Germany on November 9, although in none of these countries they will be sold free.
