Apple sells more iPhones and iPads but falls in profits

Apple is neutral on iPhone app development

According to Apple’s vice president of hardware product marketing Greg Joswiak, the company “is not opposed to developing native applications” for the iPhone.

Apple indicates that its position is neutral, which means that it will not prevent developers from writing native applications for the iPhone and that the company will not deliberately make them incompatible in the future, but it does require a software update that break the compatibility of such applications, then Apple will not try to find a solution to keep these programs running. According to information published in Gearlog, it is quite likely that future updates from Apple will break the compatibility of this type of native applications.
