Adobe shows Photoshop Elements 6 for Mac

Adobe has indicated that they have gone to great lengths to make Elements a more intuitive application for users, as well as adding some very powerful new features that will delight any photo enthusiast.

Mark Dahm, Senior Product Manager at Photoshop Elements said, “Photoshop Elements is not only about editing photos, but about helping users get more out of their images. It’s about helping people narrate his stories”.

For example, by using Photomerge technology, users can combine the best facial expressions and body language from a total of 10 photos. This feature will be helpful for users taking group photos where people are moving or looking in the right direction.

Other new features, such as the Guided Edit mode, are specifically geared towards new users. This mode provides an explanation of the problem you are trying to solve, guiding the user through the steps with the simple click of a button.

Of course, those who prefer to perform the tasks manually or want more control over the process can also access all the settings.

Elements also incorporates customizable templates that allow the creation of photo album pages, greeting cards, and burning to CD / DVD. Other additional options for sharing images are those that allow you to request printed copies or create personal albums online, among other options.

Photoshop Elements will run on Mac OS X 10.4.8 or later, including Leopard. The final price of the product will be around $ 89, with an upgrade price around $ 69.
