Adobe publishes Lightroom 1.2

Photoshop Lightroom includes tools to help digital photographers and other users manage large volumes of digital images. The software includes features for managing, adjusting, and presenting photos, performing non-destructive editing, and more. It includes support for more than 150 “raw” digital camera formats, and it also works with images in TIFF and JPEG formats.

Version 1.2 incorporates performance fixes for writing XMP files, as well as noise reduction treatment for certain types of sensors. The new review also includes support for the EOS 40D, Fuj FinePix IS-1, Olympus EVOLT E-510, and Panasonic DMC-FZ18 cameras among others.

The system requirements are a G4 or higher (including support for Intel processors), Mac OS X 10.4 or later, 768 MB of RAM, and 1 GB of hard disk space.
