A geek in Colombia turns 1 year old!

It is for me a reason of great joy to celebrate this small great achievement. Today exactly a year ago I was writing my first entry in this blog “Hello World”Where with great excitement he began this new adventure of running a personal blog about technology and geek culture.

Since then I have done all kinds of articles on advances in technology and tutorials on things that I have learned such as Android and WordPress tricks which have been very successful and have given the blog a lot of visibility. So I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all those who visit the blog regularly and are part of the almost 5,000 individual daily visits that the blog is having on average these days and I hope it continues to increase as it has been doing. Thank you, thank you very much for those more than half a million visits and for those almost 1,500 comments that you have written in all the entries. This year he left us a total of 331 articles and I hope to continue growing more and more to give everyone quality content.

What is coming for the Geek in Colombia?

Thanks to the excellent response that the blog has had, I am looking at the possibility of incorporating collaborators who share with you as I have been doing, quality articles about the geek world and tutorials. In fact, so far this first year we have already had some collaborations from family, acquaintances and friends, and the idea is that they become something much more recurrent.

Likewise, the passion for blogging has begun to open my posts to other portals to also collaborate, and that is how I have made some contributions to blogs such as Gato Geek and technology portals such as Android Colombia. They recently invited me to collaborate in the Smartphone Magazine where they can also read me regularly. Finally I am working on the Colombian version of a Spanish technology portal called Xataka, I hope it sounds familiar to you, I am very happy about that and although it is not operating yet we are already producing content and it will be launched very soon and you can also read me there as a member of the portal team.

So thank God I can make a very positive balance of this first year and I look forward to what next year will bring us all. The Geek in Colombia is my home and their home, and I hope to continue seeing you all much more often participating and collaborating to build a community of geeks passionate about technology.
