What is expected of the iPhone 7: more security and …

Much has been said about what is expected of the iPhone 7, from the screen, the technical aspects, a new processor and a better camera, but there is an issue that is little addressed and that is security, therefore in addition to the rumored resistance to water and the new AMOLED screen that is said to arrive, in GizTab we also talk about security.

Recently it became known of the existence of a new malware that takes control of the iPhone, something similar to what happens HummingBad on Android, but this attack comes from a software extension that comes from the Middle East, so the new iOS has some vulnerabilities that are already being addressed by Apple and would release an update.

But in what is expected of the iPhone 7, in addition to a new Touch ID and even an Iris scanner as with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, it is also expected that the security of the mobile will be shielded from the network and in the operating system, that the firm will make the necessary software reviews to avoid a Samsung-sized catastrophe with exploding Note 7s.

In the version of iOS 9.3.5 this fault seems to be corrected according to the firm, but since it is very possible that iPhone 7 will arrive with iOS 10, Apple will probably make the necessary adjustments to be able to release the version of the software on its new vessel, since if they did not do so they would have serious problems, at a time when their shares on the stock market are at a good level.

Between things what is expected of the iPhone 7 is that security flaws such as Pegasus, the name given to Israeli malware, are avoided since it is likely that Apple has already taken the corresponding corrections to correct this problem in the not yet announced mobile phone, just as they have already done in iOS 9 at the end of August.
