VueScan supports a total of 750 flatbed and film scanners, including multiple models whose support has been abandoned by the manufacturers themselves. The software allows you to scan slides and photos with faded colors, automatically adjust images for optimal color balance, and manage unattended scanning operations.
Version 8.4.73 introduces support for multi-core processors, which, according to Hamrick software, can achieve a performance improvement of up to 50 percent. The greatest performance improvements are obtained in infrared cleaning, grain reduction and desweeding operations.
The professional version adds unlimited updates, advanced color calibration through IT8 cards, and support for scanning over RAW files.
