The next version of iTunes could come with the iPad

The new version of iTunes would offer a series of improvements related to the stability and performance of the application, but it would also bring with it several important improvements. The information revealed by Macrumors very clearly qualifies the improvements that iTunes 9.1 would have.

One of them is that the Audiobooks section would disappear to give way to a specific book section that would contain all the content of books, audio case, eBook, and so on. But within it, the elements would be differentiated according to the device with which it is compatible: iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.

The second of the improvements would focus on an improvement of the Genius mixes, with selections of songs that can truly be mixed with each other and giving better control over them, to users.

It will also allow the automatic update of the songs to the 128 kbps AAC format (greater space saving in the music library) and the interface will be redesigned to improve the ease of use of it (some buttons will be moved and new ones will appear, first level).
