For now, the phone has only been launched in the US and UK and is priced at $ 949 and € 899 respectively. There is no information about the launch in India yet. The smartphone comes with a 6.1-inch Full HD + OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch scan rate which will translate into a superior gaming experience. The aspect ratio of the new Xperia phone is 21: 9 and it supports HDR with 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, which can be disabled in settings.Sony Xperia 5 II is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 865 octa-core instead of the latest Snapdragon 865+. It’s paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSDXC card by up to 1TB.
Sony Xperia 5 II has kept the headphone jack, something we don’t see on all flagship phones. It is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging. Sony claims that it can be charged up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes. On the front, it has an 8MP snapper attached to the top bezel. It does not have an in-display fingerprint scanner. Instead, the scanner sits on the side between a customizable Google Assistant button and a shutter button at the bottom.
The phone seems very compact given its 6.1-inch screen and measures just 163 grams. In the audio department, you have two front speakers with DSEE Ultimate for an enhanced experience. It also has Dolby Atmos support and an IP65 / 68 water resistance rating.
