Office 2004 for Mac has been updated to version 11.5.4 and Office 2008 to version 12.1.7. Both updates come to solve, in both cases, the vulnerability whereby an attacker can overwrite the contents of the Mac’s memory using malicious code. According to Microsoft, it also contains enhancements to increase the performance of the suite.
Updates can be obtained from the Microsoft MacBU download site, for this it is simply necessary to select the version of Office you want to update and the desired language for said update.
