We are a few months away from the expected presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung’s new flagship, which, as we mentioned earlier, will come in several models to accommodate different budgets. However, Samsung itself seems ready to give us a first taste, and today he anticipated all the leaks by concretely demonstrating the prototype of the Galaxy S10 with 5G connectivity.
The demonstrated model of the Galaxy S10 is the one that aesthetically resembles the Galaxy S9 more, since it does not have holes in the screen for the cameras nor does it have notch, but the characteristic edges of the previous model, so at least on the front it is almost indistinguishable from the S9. The model shown in the video is the one that supports 5G connectivity and is scheduled to be launched in March 2019.
Galaxy S10 + renderings
In addition to the above, and thanks to the source of leaks @onLeaks, we have also had access this week to the renders of what would be the Galaxy S10 +. The most aesthetically interesting model of this new flagship, as it is the one that would have the hole in the screen to give space for cameras and sensors to the front, and in the rear would come with the arrangement three cameras.
These new renders let us see that the screen gap is larger than previously stipulated, with what could be two front cameras. Additionally, the absence of a fingerprint sensor on the back reinforces the theory that the sensor would come under the screen making it virtually frame-free.
Last but not least, the renders let us see also the existence of the 3.5mm Jack for headphones, which is definitely a pleasant surprise for those of us who still defend the existence of such a port.
Another series of allegedly leaked photos also show the third model of the Galaxy S10 which is the one that would be cheaper, and would have the notch on the screen at the top.
