Samsung launches the Odyssey G9, a curved gaming monitor that is seen to be believed

Samsung Odyssey G9

This week Samsung introduced the Odyssey G9, its latest curved monitor focused on next-generation gaming. With its debut at CES 2020, the G9 joins the recently launched G7 in the Odyssey lineup, with which have wanted to reinvent the gaming experience bringing together key elements such as: comfortable curvature, immersive interaction and high resolution image quality.

The superior performance of the Odyssey line has been certified by TÜV Rheinland, a leading international certification organization, which has recognized Odyssey monitors with the “1000R Curved Display and Eye Comfort” certificate for the best performance in the industry. The Odyssey G9 too is the first monitor certified to support HRD10 +, allowing you to run high-quality games and content through the combination of its Quantum dot technology that we have already seen in the brand’s televisions, and an HDR1000 panel.

“Following our recent announcement of the curved monitor for games Odyssey G7, the G9 now joins the portfolio as the first dual QHD gaming monitor with 1000R curvature. Samsung’s Odyssey G9 curved monitor takes immersive gaming to the next level, giving any gamer a huge advantage, ”said Hyesung Ha, Senior Vice President of Visual Monitors Business at Samsung Electronics.
