Reflex cameras Sony Alpha A390 and A290

Both cameras have subtle design changes, the grip has been improved, and some of the control buttons on the top have been revamped to offer a clearer arrangement. The biggest change is that the A290 has 14.2 megapixels, which is a four megapixel increase over the A230. Most of its other features are the same as the A230, including the 2.7-inch LCD screen.

The new Sony A390 is also very similar to its predecessor, the A380. It has the same resolution as the A290, and features a tiltable LCD screen and Live View autofocus functions, to which it adds a rapid phase detection focus system.

Both cameras will be available from the first half of July, with a price of 460 EUR, the A290, and 510 EUR, the A390. entry-level very popular with photographers taking their first steps out of the compact world.
