The new one Pentax K-7 ranks highest in the range of reflex cameras by Pentax. It is made of stainless steel, aluminum and magnesium and incorporates special seals to prevent the entry of dust and water. The result is a reflex camera watertight, light and compact that, in addition, is able to function properly at temperatures of up to 10 degrees below zero.
The K-7 uses an APS-C size CMOS sensor with 14.6 megapixels resolution, and is capable of recording Full HD video (1,280 x 960 at 30 fps). In burst shooting it achieves a speed of 5.2 photos per second.
Its LCD screen is three inches and 920,000 dots and can be used to compose, since it also has a LiveView system.
It has a 77-segment light metering system and a 100% coverage viewfinder, as well as an 11-point autofocus sensor
