A gold version of Motorola’s upcoming foldable Razr has been leaked by Evan Blass, and the color scheme might just be our favorite version yet. The highly anticipated return of the Razr is currently only available in black on the Verizon site for $ 1,499 and a delivery on March 3. It is not known when the gold version might be available, or if it will be priced higher.
Blass doesn’t share any details about the specifications of the leaked phone, so we’re assuming the gold model will have the same specs as the standard Razr “Noir Black”. These specs include a mid-range Snapdragon 710 processor and a 6.2-inch folding plastic OLED panel, which Motorola worryingly warns may be prone to developing “bumps and bumps.”
Meanwhile, multiple rumors suggest that Samsung is preparing to launch a very similar form factor phone next week called the Galaxy Z Flip alongside its Galaxy S20 lineup. The next foldable is believed to include an “ultra-thin glass” screen, which could be more durable than the plastic screens used in the Razr, and the first-generation Samsung Fold.
