MG SUV Hector hit the 50,000 reservation benchmark …

MG Motor India said on Thursday reservations for its SUV Hector (Review) They have crossed 50,000 units in just eight months since its launch, and it plans to launch a six-seater version of the model later this year.

The model has already sold nearly 20,000 units since its entry into India last year.

MG Motor India Commercial Director Gaurav Gupta said: “Hector continues his strong momentum in the Indian market crossing the 50,000 mark in terms of bookings received in just eight months from launch.”

He further said the company continues to accelerate momentum by opening new brand outlets closer to potential customers in Tier I and II cities.

“With plans to launch the Hector Plus 6-seater wagon in Q3 2020 (Q3 2020), our aim is to further strengthen the Hector brand in India,” said Gupta.

MG Motor India said it has already expanded its operational presence to more than 200 centers across India and aims to expand the number to 250 by the end of March.

He is also planning for MG Gloster to be available on the market for Diwali 2020.
