LG has introduced a NAS network storage system that integrates an optical disc burner. The LG N4B1 NAS has four bays for SATA hard drives and a rewriter for Blu-ray discs, or DVD, as well as functions for version management and data distribution.
The hard drives support multiple RAID configurations (including hot-swapping), which can provide capacities of up to 4TB. LG NAS has Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections and is DLNA compliant to connect to home theater and television systems wirelessly.
It also allows remote access to data from the Internet and has three USB ports to copy data from other storage devices. When copying files from them, version management functions are applied, avoiding copying files that already exist or are out of date.
