iOS 4.1 in Gold Master phase and official features

At the last musical event on September 1, some of these new features were also unveiled.

Among the new features of version 4.1 is the so-called HDR (High Dynamic Range) or high dynamic range of photos, the Game Center, the possibility of uploading full HD videos via Wi-Fi, the rental of television series ( although for now only in a few countries among which Spain is not found) and a good collection of solutions to errors present in the initial version of iOS 4.

HDR photos are actually a quick succession of three shots with different exposure ranges, which combined into a single image, offer the widest range of color and exposure possible.

Game Center was already announced at the presentation of iOS 4 last spring, but it did not arrive in time for the official launch of this last June. Another novelty of the update will be the AirPlay system that allows content to be shared over a network, in the same way as the AirTunes integrated in iTunes.

Among the errors that have been solved with the update, are the one concerning the proximity sensor of the iPhone 4, those related to Bluetooth connectivity and sound quality. And likewise, it will also solve the slowness problems of iOS 4 in the already “outdated” iPhone 3G. The update to iOS 4.1 will be completely free for all iPhone and iPod Touch users.
