Google has expanded the number of free games that are included in the Stadia Pro subscription. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Y Farming Simulator 19 have been added together with Destiny 2: The Collection Y Samurai showdown. The new games will be available for free on the Stadia store starting December 1, where subscribers must claim them.
Stadia launched in a sandbox in various regions of the world, but a wider release is still expected. The only option to pay for Stadia is Pro the Founder or Premiere edition. In the latter, you get the Stadia controller, the Chromecast Ultra dongle, and three months of Stadia Pro.
Essentially, if you want to experience Stadia, you have to be in the 14 selected regions where it was released and you subscribed to the Pro tier. There is a free tier launching in 2020 restricted to streaming 1080p and 60fps. However, that will not include free games. In case you jump from the Pro plan to the free plan, you will also lose the free games in your library.
Currently, Stadia’s library of supported games includes:
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
- Attack on Titan: Final Battle 2
- Destiny 2: The Collection
- Farming Simulator 2019
- Final Fantasy 15
- Football Manager 2020
- Just Dance 2020
- Subway exodus
- Mortal Kombat 11
- NBA 2K20
- Anger 2
- Rise of the Tomb Raider
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Samurai shodown
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider
- Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
- Lifting of judgments
- Wolfenstein: Youngblood
Note that Stadia will still require users to own the games on Stadia or on their respective platforms like Steam or Uplay.
