The mid-range continues to bring joy to Samsung, at a difficult time for the economy given the global crisis of the coronavirus. From the company they share interesting facts about the family’s sales Galaxy A, in an editorial signed by Luis de la Peña, Marketing Director of the Mobility division of Samsung Iberia, in which he states that so far this year have distributed more than 93,000 units of Galaxy A40.
Also, four other Samsung devices are included in the Top 10 best-selling smartphones, state from Samsung: Galaxy A10, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A50 and A20e; and they also share data from the analytics company Strategy Analytics which recently announced that “Galaxy A51 has been the best-selling Android smartphone during the first quarter of 2020, with 6 million units distributed worldwide”.
It is clear that Samsung’s cheap mobile phone proposal is here to stay. In fact, about Galaxy A51, de la Peña recalls that this model has been very popular in the European and Asian markets, occupying 2.3% of the market.
“In addition, in the Top 6 of the best-selling smartphones worldwide, there are two other Samsung models: Galaxy A10s and Galaxy A20s”, highlights.
Given the numbers, and always according to these market data shared by the manufacturer, it is understandable that the mid-range catalog has been reinforced as it has done so far this year. And it is that we remember that in 2020 we have seen models such as the Galaxy A71, A51, A41 and A21s arrive in Spain, which arrives today on the Spanish market.
And it is that in recent years we have seen how Samsung’s strategy is to strengthen its mid-range, with proposals that cover all kinds of budgets, and make clear the intention of the manufacturer to provide options for all types of user.
