Epson has announced a new photo all-in-one with Wi-Fi connectivity and geared towards home use. The Epson Stylus Photo PX710FW has separate trays for conventional A4 paper and photo paper, as well as being able to print on CDs and DVDs.
It has a 2.5 “screen and memory card reader to be able to print photos directly, without having to turn on the computer, and it also has a PictBridge compatible USB port.
The printer has Epson Micro Piezo print heads and uses Epson Claria inks in separate cartridges that, according to the manufacturer, guarantee a life of about 98 years in frames or 200 years in album.
The PX710FW can print 10 x 15 cm photos in 10 seconds and has scan (includes OCR software) and copy functions. The scanning and printing functions can be used in shared mode through your network connections, either Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
The equipment is already available at a suggested price of 200 EUR.
