Dell bets on IPS panels in its UltraSharp monitors

Dell continues to increase flat panel monitor models that are based on In-Plane Switching technology (IPS), present in the top-of-the-range UltraSharp range for professionals and users who want the latest technology in their products.

The latest additions have been the UltraSharp U2211H and U2311H models, already available worldwide. Both models have an ergonomic design, with the possibility of adjusting them in height, as well as their inclination and rotation, to adapt to the preferences of each user. In addition, the displays support landscape mode, in order to facilitate reading documents or working in office environments. It is a feature that some users demand, and that little by little has been forgotten by screen manufacturers. Large supported resolutions of 2,560 x 1,440 dots reduce the need to scroll through large documents, as well as having to switch between windows within the same application.

Monitor response times are 8 milliseconds, with 16: 9 aspect ratios, and a dynamic contrast ratio of 80,000: 1. For large companies that need extra control, it should be noted that these screens can be managed remotely by IT administrators, using the Dell Client Manager software that is deployed through the network infrastructure. These new displays also meet Energy Star 5.0, TCO Display 5.0 and EPEAT Silver regulations.

At the connection level, the UltraSharp series is one of the best equipped, since it has VGA, DisplayPort, DVI-D output with HDCP, as well as USB ports

In addition to the UltraSharp series, which corresponds to the top of the range with the most professional users in mind, Dell has three other product ranges such as hubs for connecting different peripherals. the P Series, the G Series and the E Series, the latter being the most complete in terms of marketed units, with more than 11 different models that vary between 17 and 23 inches.
