Cumulus 7.6 adds PDF rendering

Cumulus enables companies to manage their digital materials. It can be used to organize, search, and share files that a workgroup may need, such as logos, presentation files, videos, Microsoft Office documents, Adobe files, Quark files, and more. It is a platform independent solution and can also work from web browsers to gain remote access to files.

Among the new features of Cumulus 7.6, the built-in rendering for the PDF previews stands out. PDF rendering works on all Cumulus supported operating systems, including browsers, without the need for Acrobat or Adobe Reader to be installed.

In the new version the management of PowerPoint files has also been improved. Users can now create PowerPoint presentations from cataloged presentations, slides and images, whether they have PowerPoint installed or not. The new version of Cumulus will package the new presentations in files that can be stored on memory keys or any other type of portable storage.

System requirements are Mac OS X 10.4 or later
