Pulse Apple

Apple will limit the volume of its devices in Europe

The standard has been approved by the European Union to try to reduce hearing damage and negative effects that affect between 5 and 10 percent of all people who use MP3 devices (an estimated 10 million users).

Thus, you should not listen to music at 80 dBA for more than 40 hours a week, while listening to music at 89 dBA should not be done more than 5 hours a week. In this way its sound would be limited to 80 dBA (now it generates a range of between 60 to 120 dBA) and as a comparative data, the traffic noise in a city is around 90 dBA.

When the user exceeds this figure, a warning message will appear informing that a very high volume is being used.
