Since February 2008, and according to data provided by OneSat Safari its market share of browsers by 0.24 percent worldwide. This gives Safari a 2.42 percent global market share, ranking it third in the browser wars.
Apple follows Microsoft’s Internet Explorer with 81.36 percent market share, and Mozilla / Firefox with 14.67 percent market share. Behind Apple and in fourth place is Opera (with a 0.55 percent market share), Google Chrome (0.55 percent) and Netscape (0.32 percent).
Safari’s market share is even better in the United States, where it has risen to 3.95 percent. In Canada, Safari has the largest market share at 7.56 percent.
Since its introduction, Google Chrome has obtained a 0.62 percent market share in the US, and 0.92 percent in Canada.
Microsoft Internet Explorer continues to dominate the browser market with 81.36 percent of the market share, down from 83.27 percent last February.
