HP extends its software support to iPads

Apple delays international availability of iPad

Apple has issued an official statement to inform about the delay that the availability of the iPad will suffer. The reason for this delay is that they have sold more than 500,000 iPads in their first week, a much higher demand than they had anticipated, and which will likely continue to exceed their supply capacity in the coming weeks. At the same time, they indicate that they have collected a large number of pre-orders for the iPad 3G models to deliver at the end of April.

The note states: “In light of this surprisingly high demand in the US, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the international launch of the iPad for one month, until the end of May.

Prices in Europe, May 10

The note has also served to announce the date on which the price of the device in Europe will be clarified. Something that worries many potential buyers who do not know how the manufacturer will transfer the iPad prices in US dollars. Thus, the note reads: “On Monday, May 10, we will announce prices for the international market and begin taking pre-orders. We know that many customers outside the US who were waiting to buy an iPad will be disappointed by this news, but we hope they are happy to find out why: the iPad is so far a great success in the US ”.
