Apple back in court, as a prosecution and as a defendant

In the matter of power adapters, Apple has sued Media Solutions Holdings, eRepalcements and Laptops For Less. In it, those of Cupertino indicate that Media Solutions and eRepalcements use the Laptops For Less brand to offer a power adapter for MacBook that violates Apple patents.

This sale of “unauthorized” adapters is causing irreparable damage to Apple’s intellectual property and violates patent D478.310 (Power Adapter) dated August 12, 2003, owned by Apple.

The dispute between Luxpro and Apple continues, but this time Luxpro is suing those from Cupertino. This manufacturer of supposed clone iPods was sued by Apple several years ago and sued against it in 2008. The matter is currently in that he wants Apple to pay him 100 million dollars for the damage caused by the Apple lawsuit in his time ( the reason for the original lawsuit was the alleged manufacture of a player suspiciously similar to iPod shuffle).

In the counterclaim, Luxpro indicates that Apple wanted to remove its company from the market in the original lawsuit, which they interpret as an alleged attempt at a monopoly by Apple in the market for portable media players.
